Abstract (EN)

'The city is a living social organism' whose spatial observation requires perspectives in many layers. While experiencing the city, a new interdisciplinary spatial reading, narrative and mapping can be achieved by establishing a network of relations in which architecture, sociology, politics and philosophy are intertwined. Deleuze; presents a dictionary, a subtext for an architectural reading and city exploration with a chain of concepts focused on desire and intuition. In this context, Beyoğlu has been chosen as the study area because it is a cultural, sociological and architectural show center with its layered structure and its rough, coherent, slippery, political spaces. In the study, an architectural narrative was created with the Deleuze philosophy over the political, social, spatial and architectural situations related to the history and current situation of Beyoğlu. The method of the narrative is about free-swinging and experience in a rhizomatic way; beginning, end, cause and effect are unclear. Reading does not operate hierarchically and linearly in terms of dates and directions; it is accidental and personal; In reading, various connections have been produced with social experiences. In this context, Deleuze concepts such as Rhizome, Minority, Aion, Desiring Machines and War Machine, Nomadic distribution, Slippery Space, Becoming, Deterritorialization, Non-Organic Life, Body Without Organs, Difference and Repetition are explained and observed, experienced and these concepts are associated with examples from history and experiences observed at various points in the Beyoğlu region. In order to create a new narrative by reading Beyoğlu from a different perspective, new concepts were derived from Deleuze concepts in accordance with Deleuze's production-oriented philosophy of becoming, and thus a region-specific mapping method was created.
