Özet (EN)

The aim of this study was to investigate the cytotoxic, morphological and molecular effects of deltamethrin and acetamiprid pesticides in Thle-2 and HepG2 cell lines. In addition, the toxic effects of the frequently used pesticides deltamethrin and acetamiprid and their use in Thle-2 and HepG2 cell lines for the first time add originality to the study. Pesticides, which are considered as agricultural pesticides, are chemical compounds that kill pests such as insects, fungi and weeds in order to control them. Both pesticides used in the study belong to insecticides, which are insecticides. Insecticides are divided into five groups according to their chemical structure. Deltamethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide while acetamiprid is a neonicotinoid insecticide. Pesticides are known to cause reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation, apoptotic cell death, DNA damage and oxidative stress. Based on these data, an optimisation study was carried out at certain dose ranges to determine the toxic effects of deltamethrin and acetamiprid pesticides on Thle-2 and HepG2 cell lines. As a result of the experiments conducted in this thesis, deltamethrin was found to be more toxic than acetamiprid pesticide. In addition, in the case of comparison of two cell lines, it was observed that the normal liver cell line Thle-2 was exposed to toxic effects even at lower doses than the liver cancer cell line (HepG2).
