Abstract (EN)

Blast furnace slag, blast furnace slag, blast furnace sludge, blast furnace sludge, desilator, blast furnace flue dust, melt shop dust, ladle furnace and chemical heating plant powders, lime plant filter dust, chemical treatment sludge, service water treatment sludge, scaling, iron oxide, solid waste such as sinter plant electro filter dust is produced. Some of these wastes are put on the market through some processes and others are stored at certain points of the heat enterprises. Blast furnace slag is the most common solid waste but still has the easiest sale. Second place steel mill slag is also partially recovered in the sinter plant. Work is underway to evaluate the rest of this slag. In addition to the slags, wastes resulting from mass production of large quantities of integrated steel production; dry dust, wet sludges and oily scum and sludge from water treatment plants. Most of them belong to the class of valuable waste materials containing about 50% iron, but because of their zinc and alkali content, they damage the blast furnace refractories, and because they are very fine-grained and some of them have high oil content, their recovery is problematic. In this study, zinc situated % 86 in steel sludge by taking advantage of the solubility of zinc in strongly basic medium which is not in literature. ratio. In this study, the effects of temperature, grain size and potassium hydroxide concentration on zinc removal were investigated. The amount of zinc removed was utilized by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).
