Democrat Party Period of this visit Turkey visiting the heads of state and reflections to the Turkish press

During the cold war period, the USA and Russia were on the same side against Germany in World War II. But after the war both Russia and the USA pushed the world unprecedented polarization. Because of both it's jeopolitical position and economic conditions, Turkey had a western diplomatic aproach. Turkey was triyng to get in to back to the western block due to providing its national security and tried to achive significant gains from Soviet threat during the polarization. Between 1950 and 1960s Turkey had more visits from Middle Eastern countries than western countries, Hovewer Turkey focused on the relations with western and US in this period. In this research, it was investigated the foreign heads of states who have visited Turkey during the Democrat Party period. We found in the research who are these head of states which political issiues discussed and what are the effects of these visits to Turkish international relations. During the Celal Bayar period (For then years presedentcy) from 12 different countries a total of 17 visits were carried out at the level of head of state. The head of states visited Turkey from western countries Greece, Yugoslavia, Germany and US, and from eastern countries Jordan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Indonesia, Afganistan respectively. Jordan head of states visited four time and Pakistan head os states visited three time during this period. For the thesis study have been benefited a variety of sources. The study formed the basis of the Democratic Party for visiting Turkey heads of state with interviews, discussed issues and Turkey's foreign policy influence in relation to, the period in question the attesters that period and the memory of the present transfer from the print media were used significantly. Archives of Presidential records related to preparation was done for Head of State who visited to Turkey in Democratic Party period and heads of state's speech were analyzed. In addition to this, the Prime Minister of the Republic Archives were also investigated and correspondence contained herein embassies and foreign policy in the light of mentioned period in the article diplomatic relations assays were done for.
