Abstract (EN)
Exhibition environments are powerful communication platforms with high potential in many aspects. These spaces, which allow different levels of design input, offer the designer the opportunity to fully influence the perception experience of the visitor. Activating all the senses of the visitor brings with it extraordinary opportunities for experience. This feature has enabled the exhibitions to be seen as an experience environment that entertains, teaches and reveals new ideas. This study Seeks for ways to design a holistic experience within exhibition spaces by examining experience-oriented studies in different fields. At this point, it is aimed that this study will be shedding the light on terms of the design of exhibition spaces. The research consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, the history and the current place of concept of exhibition are examined. In the second chapter, the reflections of the concept of experience in different fields are examined by focusing on it. In the third chapter, the visitor's experience and exhibition elements are examined and attention is drawn to the relations between them. In the last chapter, a project proposal is presented in line with the information obtained in the light of research.
