Abstract (EN)
In performed experimental study, performances of trouts producted with fly ash (UK) and silica fume (SD) used as mineral additives at sea water and sulfate envorinments were investigated. In this context, substituted with 10%, 20% and 30% UK; subsituted with 6%, 9%, 12% and 15% SD and substituted with 10%UK+6%SD, 10%UK+9%SD, 10%UK+12%SD, 10%UK+15%SD, 20%UK+6%SD, 20%UK+9%SD binary mixtures and with control trout, total of 14 series trout samples were produced. A total of 182 pieces of 40 × 40 × 160 mm trout specimens prepared and with different curing periods allowed to stand in city water, %10 magnesium sulfate and sea water obtained from Mediterranean, respectively. For all cure specimens, flexural strength and compressive strength of trout samples at different curing periods were measured and surface distortions occurred on samples in time also observed. As a result of study, substituted with %10 UK samples determined as has highest strength to standard curing procedures within all trout samples. In trout samples cured with magnesium sulfate attack, deteriorations like surface softening and formation of cracks were found. In trout samples kept in magnesium sulfate solutions, increased flexural strength observed but compressive strength was not changed significantly. In all of samples exposed to sea water, increased flexural strength was observed and as a result of compressive strength results, trout substituted with UK, especially substituted with 10% UK determined as has the best resistance.
