Abstract (EN)

In this study, the structures used in thermal insulation, insulation materials,heat insulation of the outer wall of the implementation, measurement ofconsumer awareness, Sakarya applied to the exterior wall systems,insulation materials were investigated profile.In the introduction is brief information about the subject.The second section, and the importance of heat insulation were investigated.Of the energy industry and residences in Turkey are being depleted, a large part of the energy consumed in households is used for heating. The energy saving thermal insulation is one of effective and economic measures.In the third section, used in insulating materials and thermal insulation,material selection criteria and characteristics are examined.In the fourth chapter, material selection and application of thermal insulationin buildings were investigated process. Focused on the application ofoutdoor walls.In the fifth section, the Energy provided information about identification.Building Energy Performance (BEP), the Regulation on the implementationprocess is examined.In the sixth section, architects and Sakarya to the survey also applied to the external wall insulation systems were determined profile. Insulation to homeowners and companies with the survey measured consumer awareness, consumer companies in insulation and thermal insulation point of view were evaluated.The seventh section, we evaluated the results of a thesis, in terms of energy consumption, heat insulation, heat insulation on the recommendations was to eliminate the consumer unconscious.
