Abstract (EN)

Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Center, prepared by Turkey Earthquake According to the map, due to the presence of Marmara and around active fault, earthquake zone is located in Sakarya province. The greatest danger of natural disaster in Sakarya province is earthquake. In the literature, earthquake analyzes have been made by taking Sakarya as the center. These analyzes were made with earthquakes of 6 intensity and above. While predicting the earthquake analysis of a region, earthquakes occurring in the center and its vicinity should be taken into consideration. Because, although the center of the 1999 Marmara Earthquake was Gölcük, 33 lives were lost in Eskişehir, according to official records. In our study where we predicted the earthquake analysis as probabilistic, taking into account a total of 1953 earthquake records consisting of Mw> 3 formed by the center of Sakarya province with a diameter of 100 km, an earthquake risk analysis that may occur at intervals of 5-10-25-50 years was performed with the Least Squares Method. One of the most important factors causing ground damage during an earthquake is ground liquefaction. In case of liquefaction, which causes different types of deformations in the ground, occurs in residential areas, various structural damages such as settling, tilting, and overturning of the structures occur. Soil parameters of Sakarya province, Akyazı district center were obtained by geological and geophysical experiments and liquefaction analyzes were made. After determining the liquefiable areas, the houses, mosques, schools, factories etc. Structural damages that may occur in liquefiable areas were tried to be determined by processing the superstructures and drinking water lines in geographical information systems in detail.
