Nominations related to wedding customs, traditions and entertainment in the Compiling Dictionary

The Turkish nation has lived a life depending on its traditions and customs from past to present. He gave particular importance to some days and celebrated it differently from other days. One of them is marriage. Weddings are an important practice in terms of cultural transfer, which includes many rituals, traditions, customs and traditions. Although these practices continue today, this tradition has taken its share from the changing world. Our country is a rich geography where the same custom finds different application areas. The geography we live in, the environment, our beliefs and customs have shaped the rituals we perform at the wedding. In the study, namings about wedding customs, traditions and entertainments in the Derleme Sözlüğü, which is one of the largest studies on dialect studies, were determined. It was evaluated and classified within itself. This study aims to explain the place names used in folk dialect in detail and to contribute to the science of place names in Turkey.
