Game and game related conseptual field in the collation dictionary

People have felt the need to convey all their feelings, thoughts and desires from the first moment they have lived and to deal with other living beings. Language is a very comprehensive structure that allows people to deal among themselves, responds to human needs and reflects the society to which they belong, history, culture, geography, the way of life of the society in which they are located. The branch of science that studies this comprehensive structure in all aspects is linguistics. Linguistics is the study of all the general and special qualities that language has, tend the problems found in the language, examining the partnerships and differences between the languages, it is a fairly large area that is divided into many different branches within itself and is also in relationship with other branches of science. Games, on the other hand, have existed together with living things and have taken their place in all civilizations at all times of history. Games are very important in terms of educating people, evaluating their time, ensuring unity and decoupling, acting as a bridge between the past and the future, revealing the cultural structure of society. For this reason, naming of game and game related concept fields will also clarify many historical structures when examined from a scientific point of view. There is no sub-branch of the nomenclature pertaining to game and game related conceptual field in linguistics. Despite this, nomenclature of game and game related conceptual field are closely related to linguistics in terms of the various structures it contains. The emergence of nomenclature of game and game related conceptual field shed light on the past in many ways. Therefore, it is an area that needs to be illuminated due to the linguistic elements it contains. As a result of the studies, it is seen that nomenclature of game and game related conceptual field include various designations according to age, identity, region, tools and equipment used, characteristics such as individual or collective play. In the study, nomenclature of game and game related conceptual field in the "Compilation Dictionary of the Public Dialect", which is considered one of the largest studies conducted in the field of oral research, were identified. The identified nomenclature of game and game related conceptual field have been evaluated in many ways and subjected to various classifications within themselves. This study aims to explain nomenclature of game and game related conceptual field used in the dialect in a comprehensive way and to contribute to the studies conducted with nomenclature of game and game related conceptual field in Turkey.
