Vocabulary of animal names in the compilation dictionary

In our study titled "Derleme Sözlüğü'nde Hayvan Adlarının Söz Varlığı", it is seen how the animal names in Turkey Turkish dialects are formed and these names are examined in terms of form ana meaning. In this thesis, in which the names of animals in the Derleme Sözlüğü are examined morphology, there are sections such as "Introduction, Animals and Zoology, Animals in Turkish Language and Culture, Semantic Classification of Animal Names, Animal Names According to Their Structure, Classification of Animal Names and Conclusion".In the "Animal Names According to Their Structure" section, "simple, derived and compound" animal names in the Derleme Sözlüğü were examined morphology. Some animal names, whose suffix-root distinction cannot be made exactly, are included in the simple nouns' group. Derived animal names, which are the second sub-title in this section, are examined as structure and concept. Animal names in the compound group in terms of structure are shown as 'noun phrase, adjective phrase, adjective-verb group, repetition group and imputation group'.In the last part, animals are classified according to zoology. This classification is in alphabetical order and is grouped under ten sub-titles according to the characteristics of the animals. Keywords: Animal names, Structure, Derleme Sözlüğü, Naming, Morphology
