The thesis title is "The economic and Commercial Situation of Greece According To The Dersaadet Chamber of Commerce Newspaper (1885-1900)" The news, reports and agreements with foreign countries in the Dersaadet Chamber of Commercial Newspaper, which began to be published on January 5.1885, reveal the thesis framework. The thesis aims to examine Greece's economic and commercial aspects as it enters the 20th century and interpret them through analysis and synthesis. Toward the end of the 19th century, the events that shaped the economy of Greece and the problems affecting its trade were brought to the agenda. The study mainly focuses on the last period of the 19th century but also mentions the 1830s when greece was a state. Greece seeks a solution to the losses suffered by the country due to its political goals. In the introduction part of the thesis, the situtiation of Greece under Ottoman rule before Greece became a state is discussed. The fourh chapter deals with reaching an agreement with state through trade and the relationship of "reciprocity" to trade.
