Abstract (EN)

The flow experience has been studied in many fields (e.g. website, e-learning, sport). However, there is a lack of study concentrating on flow experience in tourism context. This study aims to explore relationship between destination attributes, flow experience, positive emotions and overall tourist satisfaction. In accordance with this purpose, 938 usable data were collected from British, German and Russian tourists at Antalya International Airport. According to the exploratory factor analysis results, destination attributes were grouped under three dimensions, namely; accommodation services, shopping and infrastructure and environment. Flow experience scale was grouped under three dimensions as well, namely; focus attention, loss of self-consciousness and time distortion. The developed hypotheses were tested by using SmartPLS 3 software. Results revealed that, there isn't a relationship between destination attributes and flow experience. Destination attributes and flow experience both influence overall satisfaction and positive emotions. Based on the findings, theoretical and practical suggestions were given.
