Özet (EN)

The quality of a destination, service quality plays a vital role in the success of the destination management and marketing. Many valuable researches have been made on destination services in international marketing and tourism literature, but none of these studies have investigated the impact of refugees on destination. In this study, it was revealed the effect of the perceptions intended refugees in destinations on personality, attitudes, satisfaction and behavioral intention to destinations. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected from 503 tourists who visited the province of Gaziantep on 01.02.2019-20.04.2019 and easily stayed at least one night. In the qualitative findings obtained from the study, it was found that the majority of the participants were disturbed by the immoral behavior of the refugees and their begging. In the quantitative findings obtained from the research, it was observed that the perception towards refugees negatively affected the satisfaction and personality of the destination. However, the perceptions of refugees; age, gender, monthly income and accommodation time variables were not different.
