Abstract (EN)

Human lung cancer is the most usual case of human malignancy. In this work, we used two lung cancer cell lines: A549 (alveolar basal epithelial cells) and H1299 (LC, large cell lung cancer). Depending on medicinal plants used for the prevention and treatment of cancer and biological features such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antimicrobial, antitumor and anticarcinogenic as several agents of plant derived compounds, have been ascribed possessing anti biological activity in clinical use. So we used the Osajin and Pomiferin flavonoids that bolted from the ethyl acetate extracts of Maclura pomifera fruits beforehand. In this work, the cytotoxic activities of osajin and pomiferin on A549 and H1299 (NSCLC) was studied by MTT (3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyl-2Htetrazolium bromide) method. However the osajin and pomiferin was induced cell proliferation. The different concentrations (6.25, 12.5, 25, 50, 100 µg/ml) was not cytotoxic activity exactly but, they were partial inhibition on both of cell lines in low concentration. Addition the osajin and pomiferin were weak protected from UV according to the pBR322 plasmid DNA assay.
