Determination some antioxidant and parameters in men with infertility

Estimate the concentration of lipid profile (cholesterol, triglyceride, and high-density lipoprotein), sexual hormones (Testosterone, FSH, and LH), and some antioxidant enzymes (catalase, selenium, and glutathione) in men with infertility. 125 subjects, During the month of April 2022, reports of patients infected with infertility were received at Azadi Teaching Hospital & Al-Jumhuri hospital. In Kirkuk, Iraq, private laboratories were utilized for the performance of the experimental activity. The participants in this study were classified into the following categories: As a control group, there were 50 healthy volunteers. 75 infertility men as a second group. The results showed sperm concentration there is a significant decline at 5-10years, Additionally, there is a noticeable change in the morphology of the sperm when the length is greater than 10 years. When compared to the control group, total cholesterol and triglycerides in the serum of infertile patients indicate a statistically significant (P<0.05) increase. When compared to the levels found in the control group, the HDL levels found in the serum of infertile patients were significantly lower (P <0.05) at 24.18 ± 1.04 mg/dL. When compared to the control group, the total testosterone concentration in the serum of infertile patients demonstrates a statistically significant (P <0.05) decline. When compared to the levels found in the control group, the FSH and LH concentrations found in the serum of infertility patients demonstrate a statistically significant (P <0.05) rise. When compared to the levels found in the control group, the MDA levels found in the serum of infertile patients indicate a substantial (P <0.05) rise. In comparison to the control group, the GSH, GPX, SOD, & catalase levels in the serum of infertile patients indicate a statistically significant (P <0.05) reduction.
