Özet (EN)

Biocomposites are among the most preferred material. The biocomposite materials which are made by combining different types of biodegradable materials are used especially in survey. The biocomposites which are obtained from biodegradable polymers do not leave any artificial residues after being placed in the body. Due to this feature surgeons favor to use the biocomposite polymers. This study concerns about obtaining a biocompolible material with superior properties starting from the naturally found cellulose. This is achieved by first obtaining 2,3-dialdehyde cellulose from the aforementioned natural cellulose, and then modifying it with poly(lactic) acid and polyethylene glycol in DMF. The obtained biocomposites were characterized by infrared spectroscopy technique and thermal analysis techniques.
