The aim of this study is evaluate cancer patients diagnosis and / or treated at Dicle University Medical School,Departmant of Urology between the years 1990-2013. Medical records of patients who admitted Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Urology between January 1990 and May 2013 and who were reported as tissue diagnosis of malignancy were retrospectively reviewed. The resulting data type of cancer, age, gender, incidence, were classified in terms of annual distribution. For statistical analysis Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS 16.0 for Windows was used. A total of patients who diagnosed urogenital cancer were 1831. Out of 252 patients were women (mean age. 56.7 ± 12.7SD), 1,579 were men (mean age. 49.6 ± 16.4SD). Bladder cancer was detected in 750 patients. Out of this patients, 97 (12.9%) women, with 674 (87.1%) male patients. The ratio was about 7:1. Out of 619 have prostat cancer (mean age of 68.5 ± 13.7). Out of 342 patients were diagnosed with kidney cancer (mean age 48.8 ± 11.5) . Out of 342 patients 187 (54.7%) were male and 155 (45.3%) were female patients. Out of 120 patients were diagnosed with testicular cancer. (mean age 28.16 ± 13.67) . And penile tumors produce pathological data records can not be obtained exactly this type of cancer were excluded from the study. According to these results, the most frequent four types were as follows; bladder cancer, prostat cancer, kidney cancer and testicular cancer. We believe that more epidemiological studies are needed to better understand urological cancers, ultimately to create awareness for early diagnosis, in the community and to provide more effective treatments. For this, cancer data must be registered very careful and meticulous in every health care provider and must be collected in a common pool that more accurate epidemiological data results must be achieved.
