Abstract (EN)
In mythology, Prometheus, who stole fire from the Gods, changed the fate of humanity and gave them the qualification of being a demigod. Does the alternative perception of reality offered by the Digital Universe express a context that deifies the other half of the human being? Whether our destiny has changed or not will be clarified by seeking an answer to this question. This study deals with the historical course of reality with interposition of game and the point it has reached today through the phenomena of space and memory. It aims, to examine the transformations and changes experienced by establishing a historical perspective. The approaches and effects of the digital universe, in which Alternate Reality is represented, to space and memory phenomena are examined in comparison with the established historical perspective, and the current and future situation of the community is discussed. How the relationship between the universe and reality constructed by digital games pacifies social values represents one of the other dimensions examined in the study. The integration of social images into entertainment forms by separating them from their historical meanings and their consumption in this direction emerges as a factor that transforms cultural memory. With the role of artificial intelligence models as assistants, it has decisive effects on daily practices, the effects of various applications on socialization, the abolition of privacy to receive interaction, etc. Problems arise as a result of digitalization. Human, which was seen as a tool by global commercial companies in the industrial period, has begun to be perceived as data with digitalization. The study focuses on these issues and seeks answers to questions about whether our destiny has changed in this context. Keywords: Virtual Reality, Space, Memory, Digital Games, Post Truth
