Özet (EN)

In the present study, it was aimed to evaluate working performance of digital mammography systems (FFDM) within the scope of quality control tests.Quality control tests for digital mammography devices were designed and optimized according to applicability performance and importance. For the tests, the device divided into five parts as X ray generation, compression, image receptor system, dosimetry and image display. The performance of x ray generation was tested with different kV and mAs values. Tube output value was confirmed as ?51-89 ?Gy/mAs?. The radiation leakage in tube was measured and for the X ray quality, half-value layers were calculated as 0.248mm, 0.259mm, 0.267mm, 0.272mm, 0.276mm aluminum (Al), respectively. The source ? image distance was measured as 66.6cm. The performance of automatic teleportation control was evaluated. The compression force of the breast tray was calculated and found as 158.6N. The level of breast tray to the X ray area and the level of both light area and detector area to the X ray area were controlled. More than 2% deviation was measured in the left and right edges between the x ray area and detector area. The working range of the detector system about the image receptor system was examined and the response function was evaluated. Spatial resolution was measured with the current test pattern, when the test pattern was parallel to the anode - cathode axis, 12 ? 14 line pairs per millimeter were determined. But when it was perpendicular to the axis, 11 line pair was seen. The CNR value of the detector was found as 1.67 numerically. The calculated SNR and Fom values were found as 8.138, 7.927, 6.425 and 13697, 4640, 1331 respectively. In artifact measurements, no artifact arising from the detector was seen. The tests for the evaluation of the monitor systems could not be carried out due to the reasons beyond control. Finally, the tests carried out on the digital mammography device were compared with the literature. The results of the tests which were compiled according to the probability and importance of realization were evaluated. The tests were compiled according to their realization periods. And it was aimed to present a reference of resource in terms of creating the digital mammography accreditation program of our country.
