Abstract (EN)
Mankind has dreamed of living in the utopian world from past to present. For this reason, many thinkers have created their own utopias and studied on how a happy society should be. The promise of a free and prosperous life in the modern world has now begun to leave its place to a pessimistic and oppressive fear of life in the dystopian universe. Smart phones and computers, which are a part of our lives with the developing technology, make our lives easier on the one hand, but on the other hand, every search we make on the internet, every application we use, and many other personal data, especially our location information, are recorded. Therefore, this raises concerns about the use of technology as a surveillance tool. However, it is also possible to say that many new social and ethical problems will arise by using our idea that there are many transformative technologies have already being designed or designed for the future but not yet made available to the public. Although the main problem in dystopian world designs is the destruction of privacy, the use of surveillance and surveillance on the public as a means of control issues such as frequently discussed. In this study, today's privacy violations and ethical problems such as self-disclosure, spying and surveillance with the emergence of our new habits will be discussed and tried to be conveyed with their historicity. In addition to the positive effects of technology, it will be tried to examine its negative effects, and it will be tried to focus on the need for protection of our human values and the creation of an ethical and legal basis.
