Abstract (EN)
Various metal complexes were synthesized using 4,5-imidazole-dicarboxylic acid and dimethyl-4,5-imidazole-dicarboxylic acid ligands with metal salts such as transition metals molybdenum (Mo3+) and Tungsten (W6+), lanthanide metals Cerium (Ce3+) and Samarium (Sm3+) and A group metal Tin (Sn4+). The synthesized complexes successfully characterized by using spectroscopic methods; micro analysis, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, LC/MS, ICP/MS and DTA/TG. Gas storage and porous structure of the complexes were comparatively investigated. Adsorption measurements with nitrogen gas, in the pore size and pore distribution, pore volume, and BET surface areas were analyzed in the temperature of 77 K and a pressure of 0.6 bar. Moreover, the maximum hydrogen storage capacity of the complexes and their pores diameters were examined at 200 bar and 298 K. Results of this study showed that specific surface area of L1Sm was 90 m2/g and amount of stored hydrogen was found 2.85 wt%.
