Abstract (EN)

In the teaching of Turkish as a mother tongue, there is not enough attention given to the data obtained by linguistics in the process of both teacher training and student development. In this study, it is aimed to show how some concepts in linguistic theories can be included in Turkish language teaching as a native language in order to eliminate this deficiency. It is also believed that the study will help Turkish teacher candidates approach linguistics in a more concrete way and understand the necessity of linguistics in language teaching. In this study, descriptive screening model is used. Examples of string, word-action, serial-syntactic relations, deep structure-surface structure and word-sentence concepts can be applied in Turkish teaching. The problem of linguistic data, which is frequently used in developed countries, has not been reflected in Turkish education, the possible reasons and solution suggestions of this problem are given. Keywords: Linguistic, Teaching Turkish, linguistic theories, linguistic concepts.
