Arabic in the context of language-geography relationship

Human beings have been defined in various ways throughout history. At times, they are described as thinking beings, while at other times, they are defined as speaking, believing, feeling, or producing beings. However, if we emphasize the biological, cognitive, and emotional aspects of humans, it is possible to define them as beings in search of meaning. The desire to explore, which begins gradually away from one's immediate surroundings from birth, is a lifelong process. This study examines, on a macro level within the context of language, thought, and environmental relations, the process defined over individuals on a micro level starting with humans. Language is the sole tool that transports humans from the macro-level universe where they are objects to the micro-level universe where they are subjects. This quest for meaning, starting from one's immediate surroundings, is reproduced linguistically according to the conditions and experiences in the external world. Indeed, humans tend to name everything they see and think because expressing experiences converts abstract concepts into tangible forms and helps them understand the world they see and think about. Thus, each language produces words, metaphors, and worldviews as a product of its experience with its immediate surroundings. Arabic, having emerged in this manner onto the stage of history and constructed its history within itself, carries traces of the desert and wilderness life in its vocabulary.
