Hajj education in religious education

ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to contribute to the effective, efficient and permanent teaching of the subject of pilgrimage, which is among the subjects that are difficult to teach in imam hatip high school fiqh and basic religious knowledge courses and religious culture and ethics courses in primary and secondary education. In this study, different principles, methods, tools, materials and materials to be used in teaching the subject of Hajj are discussed. It is aimed to use these principles, methods, tools, equipment and materials by adapting them to the teaching of Hajj and to eliminate the difficulties during its teaching. In this study, literature review, which is a theoretical research method, was used. Within the scope of this method, which consists of search, scanning, compilation and interpretation stages, books, articles and thesis studies written about hajj and books, articles and thesis studies written about education, religious education, religious teaching, teaching principles, methods and materials were reviewed, and the information obtained was carefully organized and written in a plan and integrity. This study includes the conceptual framework in which terms such as education, religious education, teaching, religious teaching and worship are defined. The general framework of Hajj worship such as its definition, purpose, wisdom, types and the jurisprudential dimension of Hajj are briefly explained. The teaching principles that should be considered during the teaching of the subject of Hajj, the methods that can be used, and how to use the closest and most up-to-date teaching tools, materials and materials used to enrich the teaching and increase its permanence in the teaching of Hajj are given. As a result, it was concluded that the use of different principles, methods, tools, equipment and materials in the teaching of Hajj can eliminate the difficulties in teaching Hajj, enrich the teaching, make it enjoyable, efficient, permanent and effective.
