Abstract (EN)

During the renewal of the education programs, the Religious Culture and Ethics Course curriculum was also developed. With this program, it is aimed to ensure that the student-centered learning approach is effective in the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and behaviors that students are aimed to acquire in the learning-teaching process. Activities play an important role in providing students with information regularly, repeating what they have learned, and ensuring their mental, emotional and social development. However, we think that the activities in the Religious Culture and Ethics course books in general and the Story activities in particular are not sufficient. For this reason, we determined the Story activity, one of the activities that will contribute to the realization of the achievements, as the research topic. From past to present, storytelling techniques have been used in religious education in order to keep Islamic principles alive, to keep religious principles in mind and to facilitate adaptation to life. As a matter of fact, storytelling is frequently included in the Holy Quran. Because storytelling is an important teaching method that enables people to get advice, dream and think. Based on this idea, we examined the content and achievements of the 4th grade primary school Religion and Cleanliness unit. We tried to determine to what extent the achievements determined for the unit in the curriculum could be achieved through stories. We tried to exemplify the implementation of all the achievements of the 4th grade Religion and Cleanliness unit during the lesson within the framework of a plan by finding suitable sample stories for the achievements of the worship area units from the 5th to the 8th grades. We believe that the results of the study can contribute to Religious Culture and Ethics course teachers by providing guidance. Keywords: Religious Education, DKAB Course, Curriculum, Story, Learning Outcomes.
