Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the learning environment designed for 5th grade students to draw geometric objects and shapes in dynamic environments. In this study, a case study, one of the qualitative research designs, was used. The validity and reliability of the data collection tools were determined by the pilot study. The study was carried out with three 5th grade students. In the research, 10 worksheets prepared by the researcher and transferred to the Google Forms environment were used to examine the construction processes of basic geometric objects and shapes in dynamic environments. Before and after the application, questions in the interview form containing basic geometric concepts were asked in order to determine the change in the conceptual learning of the students. Construction tests (TGIÖT) and (TGIST) were applied before and after the application in order to determine the development of the students in the construction processes. Screen recordings were taken in order to examine the construction processes of the students in dynamic environments. The application took a total of 7 weeks. According to the findings of the research, it was concluded that the dynamic environments designed by the students were positively effective in discovering and recognizing the basic geometric concepts and realizing the constructions. At the end of the study, suggestions were made to the researchers based on the results.
