Abstract (EN)

Since the early 1990s, the observer of politics in Turkey have noticed a series of changes in the process of democratization between power and knowledge in the apprehension of the public policy. In this area, concordance of European reform movements on a path of neoliberal policies, has leaded to a higher level of freedom of speech in Turkey. Parallel to this process, American inspired think tanks, slipping into the Turkish political scene, profoundly transformed the look of opinion on certain topics which were previously not being discussed. The objective of this research is to try to understand, by choosing to be a part of the analysis of "science of government", the relationship between think tanks and government for nearly fifteen years. It is a discourse analysis of democratization of three think tanks TESEV, USAK and SETA, the largest of Turkey in order to stage their ideas and influence in the scientific process of democratization in recent years in Turkey. It is planned to show, as a case study, analyzing the reports of three think tanks on the Kurdish question, the most studied and spoken issue in Turkey, and the affect on the initiation of the Democratic Opening policy of AKP.
