Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted with the aim to evaluate the impact of interdisciplinary art on art education. In the study, the examination of the model - defined as interdisciplinary, the importance of interdisciplinary art from the past to the present, the studying of approaches related to the evaluation of the impacts of interdisciplinary art on art education, and art instructors? beliefs were identified as sub-problems. A scanning approach was made to conduct this study. Data for the study were collected via analysis of the literature and data collection forms. The participants of this study were instructors from the Gazi University Faculty of Fine Arts, Gazi Üniversity Vocational Education Faculty and the Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts. Descriptive statistical techniques which included percentages (%), frequencies, arithmetic median and standard deviation were applied to analyze the data collected via the data collection forms. According to the data, with an average of three or higher, contemporary artists reached a consensus on the importance of the approach to interdisciplinary art and its necessity. All in all, it can be concluded that in the period from the past until today, `interdisciplinarity? in light of its development is gaining importance and its place in today?s generation?s understanding of art. Moreover, upon analysis of the participants? views on the impact of interdisciplinary art on art education, with an average of four and higher, it can be seen that that they agree on the great significance of this impact. This importance is because this method of education ensures that individuals are able to express themselves according to their talents and needs, whatever they may be, hence, enriching their world of senses. VI Based on the results of this study, suggestions on how interdisciplinary art education and its atmosphere can be reconstructed have been mad.
