Investigation of the results of different fastness tests applied on dispers dyeed poliester knitted fabrics in di̇fferent sequences by colour measurements

In this thesis research, polyester fabrics with different unit weights and knitted from the same yarn were dyed with disperse dyes. After dyeing different fastness tests were applied in different sequences and the resulting colour differences were investigated. Dyeing experiments were performed with three dispers dyes of different molecular weights. Dyeings were performed at three dyeing concentrations. After reductive cleaning the dyed samples were dried and colour measurements were performed as the samples as taking them the colour standards. After that washfastness, hot-ironing and light fastnes tests were applied in different sequences and the resultant. Colour coordinates were recorded after each test on the standard colour samples. The results were explened as colour values and colour differences. The results showed that colour and colour difference properties of the dyed samples changed in connection with unit weights and disperse dyes properties light fastnes tests made the most important impact on colour values.
