Abstract (EN)

All the investigations on 1,3-oxazines which belong to heterocyclic compounds class have shown that they have biologicalactivities, and they are used as deterjant, anticorrosion chemicals, dyestuff, antioxidant and polimerization inhibitor in industry. Inaddition, they can be used as intermediates in the synthesis of N-substituted amino alcohols or nitrogen- bridged heterocyclicsystems and they serve as aldehyde sources in carbon transfer reactions.Cyclization reactions have been realized by using 2-naphthol and various substituted aromatic aldehydes in the presence of drymethanolic ammonia and naphth-1,3-oxazine derivatives have been obtained after detailed literature survey.The structures of the obtained new compounds have been clarified by their FTIR, 1H NMR, 13 C NMR and confirmed withelemental analysis results.Keywords: Biological activity, ring-closure reactions, aromatic aldehydes, naphth-1,3-oxazines.
