11th century Turkish language gramer according to Dîvânu Lugâti-Turk

Our study aimed to reveal the grammar of the Turkish language in the 11th century, starting from the first dictionary of the Turkish language, Dîvânu Lugâti't-Türk, written by Kaşgarlı Mahmut in the 11th century. For this purpose, our study is divided into certain sections. In the introduction part, the path followed by Kaşgarlı in his work and the structure of his work are explained and the general characteristics of the Turkish language according to Kaşgarlı are listed after the Turkish world of this century is introduced. The second part is on the sounds of the Turkish language. The sounds and sound changes of Turkish in this century are explained. Based on the comparison of the sounds of Turkish and Arabic, explained by Kaşgarlı Mahmut, the sound presence of Turkish has been revealed together with its sound values. The voices varying both in relation to each other and according to the dialects of the century's dialects are exemplified and explained. The third section is a section where the structural features of the Turkish language are explained. In particular, the differences between the twisted and additive word structures and word derivation features of Arabic and Turkish were emphasized. The morphological elements of the 11th century Turkish language in general and the 11th century Turkish dialects in particular are listed. In the fourth chapter, the sentence order of the Turkish language is explained based on the sentences and proverbs in Dîvân. Afterwards, the proverbs recorded by Kaşgarlı and compiled from the spoken languages of 11th century Turkish speakers were brought together. In the conclusion part, information filtered from our study is given. The source of all the information we have revealed in our study has been Kasgarlı Mahmut himself and his work.
