The examination of Diyanet Aile Journal in terms of values

The primary purpose of this research is to evaluate the texts in Diyanet Aile Journal in terms of values. In this study, a qualitative research is done aimed to find out the messages related to values in 40 published copies of Diyanet Aile Journal between 2013 January 2020 December which have been defined as samples.For this purpose document analysis method, one of the qualitive investigation methods, has been used. 40 issues of Diyanet Aile Journal have been read from beginning to end and 23 values have been detected. These values have been determinied in a detaied way, the discoveries have been identified and evaluated. The method used to effect the readers by the means of values has been explained. It is identified that values in the jaurnals have been transfered to the reader directly and didactically and in some cases,values have been transferred in the methods of discovery and implication by representing in the behaviours of the characters in the texts. As a result of the data obtained from the research, it is seen that the value of responsibility is mostly included in the examined issues of Diyanet Aile Journal, followed by the values of love, helpfulness, patience, and respect, respectively. It is observed that the values of being chaste, forgiving, empathetic and courageous took part in the journal relatively less than the others.
