Özet (EN)
Concrete is the most important construction material used in Turkey and the World. The most important specification expected from concrete is the strength and durability performance. To enhance the strength and durability Diyarbakır basalt known for its high durability, and sub-industry product mineral additives were used. 15x15x15 cm concrete samples were kept for 7, 28 and 365 days in hydropathy and 10% sulphate solution to be broken after adding mineral additives such as 20% fly ash and 10% silica fume percentage by concrete weight. Cracks of the concrete surface and hydration products were observed by electron magnetic microscope observation. Their strength and durability were determined by examining the durability of concrete samples that were prepared by using Diyarbakır basalt and mineral additive mixture against sulphate effect and alkali-silica reaction.
