Analyse tha jewellery design of education programme at Diyarbakir public education centers

The objective of the research is, to analyse the education programme at Jewelery Design at Public Education Centers, current location of it, the expectations of beneficiaries and to determine the thoughts of trainees.Target population of the study is the trainees attending the Jewelery Design class at Diyarbakır Public Education Center in 2009-2010 academic year. The arbitrary 120 trainee is the sample of the research.The datas obtained from a survey which was made to the target population are computerized then, Microsoft Excel programme was used for statistical analysis.Microsoft Excel programme was used for calculating the frequency (f) and percent (%) values, andthe values was shown on the charts. Charts were interpreted according to the datas obtained from the findings.According to the results of the research, it has been concluded that all trainees attended the jewelery design class, were informed about the course from the society and the majority aimed to evaluate the spare time with the course.It has been concluded that, the trainees made benefit of books and magazines for model determination, the most commonly used material is bead; the most of applied techniques seem to be difficult but are easy to apply.It has been concluded that the most of the materials are supplied by the course itself, dresses, fashion, the place, suitability for prepared model and design and the all criterias were considered while choosing the colours.It has been seen that the trainees sell the jeweleries made at the course for breadwinning; Crochet, nail bending and fishline braid are the techniques used in jewelry design and; necklace, ring and earrings are the most common jeweleries made at the course.The most of the trainees succeeded at the course, they found the given subjects, the materials, the teaching methods, the references were really sufficent and it has been concluded that the course satisfied the expectations.It has been seen that the products made by the trainees mostly can be exhibited, the products were nearly same as the others on the market and they were pretty interesting.Following the research, including the suggestions given from the researcher for the problems.
