Vows and holy visits of Diyarbakir, Ergani, Eğil

Diyarbakır is a zone in which sacred values and beliefs appear as expectation both material and spiritual. In Diyarbakır many cultures and civizilations live together, the sayings, attitudes and worships said to express relationship within belief and pray by whole or a part of society were affected by moral sensation of vows and visiting places, and that influenced society's lifestyle. Diyarbakır is a wealthy city with its moral sensation and historical artifacts. Relics formed under the affects of companions blood in every inch of the ground presents a great importance. It's possible to find vows and visiting places in almost every Street of Eğil, Ergani and the centrum, also to see the effects of relics on lives and beliefs.In this research, after presenting the terms and concept about vows, visiting places of folk literature ; cultural, historical, geographic information about the centrum, ergeni and eğil is explained.Main part of our research, vows and visiting places of the centrum, Ergani and Eğil is mentioned and observed distributing to towns and functions.In the result of research, effects of rituals on lifestyle and culture is rated.Keywords ; Visiting places, Vow places, dervish, Religion, Sag
