Body image has been a concept that has been affecting our daily lives throughout history and beyond. The more individuals interpret their body image positively, the more their happiness scale increases in a positive way. The research aims to examine the effect of the self-perception sense and social physical anxiety circumstances on their level of happiness of the women who attend diet centres and do exercise in Elazığ province, due to the idea of the self – perception sense and social physical anxiety circumstances affect their happiness level in women who do exercise and diet regularly, The research population consists of 270 women members who do exercise and diet in the diet centre that locates in Elazığ province, while the sample unit contains 147 women. Participants were applied to a participant information sheet - that contains age, height, marital status, education status and dieting time – social comparison scale, social – physical anxiety scale and abridged version of Oxford happiness questionnaire. The obtained data was transferred to SPSS 22. 00 and the defined variants and frequency values were determined in the line of study. Independent sample t test and One-way analysis of variance –ANOVA- was applied to analysis of the data. Pearson correlation test was used to determine the correlation between Social comparison test and social physical anxiety test and Oxford happiness questionnaire. As for the determination of effects among the scales, Linear regression test was applied. Finally, the significance level was decided to be p<0,05 with the aim of the determination of the difference between groups, in the conducted statistical analyses. Towards the end of the study, Women who do diet and exercise were determined to have significant differences between social comparison scale and dieting time variants whereas there was no difference between the factors such as age, height, education status and marital status. Despite the determination of significant difference between social physical anxiety scale and the weight variant, there was no significant difference between the variants such as age, height, education status, marital status and dieting time. Likewise, it was determined that there was a significant difference between Oxford happiness questionnaire and weight scale, while there was no correlation between the variants such as age, height, education status, marital status and dieting time. Besides, In the results of the Pearson correlation analysis that was applied to the women, the medium-negative correlation was observed between Oxford happiness questionnaire and social physical anxiety scale. Moreover, it was observed that there was medium-positive correlation between the Oxford happiness scale and social comparison scale. It was determined that there was weak-negative correlation between social physical anxiety scale and social comparison scale. In addition, according to the Linear regression test, it has been observed that women's level of Oxford happiness has a correlation with the social comparison level. Furthermore, it was determined that women's happiness level -who do exercise and diet- affects their social comparison level positively.
