Abstract (EN)

Rapidly growing world populations and people's habitat discovery have led people to different pursuits and the destruction of nature. The development of industrialization and technology has also increased this destruction. The most ımportant of the degraded natural resources are wetlands. Wetlands have been used as agricultural land, settlement, industrial area because they cause malaria disease in the past and are considered as ineffective land, marsh and reed. These pollution and disappearances, which have taken place in the natural environment, have negatively affected people in areas such as psychological, sociological, cultural, educational, and directed people to take measures to prevent this bad trend. Over time, the importance of wetlands has been clarified and protected to prevent the destruction of these areas. There are various functions of wetlands that provide a great deal of services to people in terms of natural beauty as well as being a living area of living things. Work is being done to protect and renovate wetlands. The drying of wetlands is prohibited by law. In this study, one of the most important natural resources and wetlands that meet the most vital needs of people were investigated in terms of nature conservation, interviewed with expert, prevention of damages to wetlands and provision of recreation and suggestions for what to do for the restoration and to make people aware of this important natural resource.
