Potential for use of natural and artificial floating islands as recreation areas

There are hundreds of floating islands existed naturally on earth. There are also floating islands waiting to be discovered except lots of discovered floating islands.The work discusses natural floating islands which is in our country and notion of the first artificial floating island.Not being adopted sufficiently floating islands and the system of artificial island in our country underlie the work. First of all in the work protecting natural floating islands and increasing the charm of artificial floating islands and recreational area are aimed. There aren't any work and study on floating islands in Turkey literature.The work is studied for filling the deficiency in the literature and becoming a reference to new studies. Although floating islands and the system of artificial floating island are't familiarized and known in Turkey Works on the subject and publications are writed and composed in developed countries. Improving the quality of water,habitat management, restoration of lake,restoration of wetland,breakwater and landscape works can be done with developing technology and increasing oppportunity and this type of systems.In the work literature search and prepared floating island prototype is tested by buoying in pond.With the first made artificial floating island in our country is wanted to serve as a model to prototypes which can be made later . The artificial floating islands can be made in the wetlands ,out of recreational area, being in inner city, lake, small lake and pond be seen by people make anohter aim point . Rekreasyon alanları dışında şehir içinde yer alan sulak alan, göl, gölet ve süs havuzlarında farklı boyutlarda yapılabilecek yapay yüzen adalar ile insanların bu yapıları görebilmesi bir diğer hedef noktası olmuştur.
