The homeland of the Turks is Central Asia. Turks had to migrated from Central Asia for various reasons. The basic means of livelihod of Turks was animal husbadry. Therefore; Turks migrated to fertile land for their animals to find a wide pastures. Migration of Turks was not to obtain a new land. Therefore; nomadic Turks have adopted the basis elements of migration.Historical backgrounds and ethnic origins of Sumerians and Turks are the same. In this thesis are confirmed culture, language etc. The Sumerians people of Turks migrated from Central Asia to Mesopotamia. Therefore, The Sumerians, is an example of nomadic Turks.The other tribes people are Cimmerians who had lived between B.C. XII. century and B.C. VIII. century. The homelands of Cimmerians and Scyths are Central Asia. Cimmerians migrated from homeland to the west. Scyths followed them. Both had a substantial effect on the migration areas of cultural life.Huns other nomadic tribes of thes era. Asian Huns had migrated to west for several reasons. After that European Huns was established by descendants of the Asian Huns. In history European Huns was led to an important event the whole world. It is known as the Great Migration of Peoples in 375 A.D. As Huns under the command of the Emperor Balamir, homeland for various reasons, migrated to the west.Various tribes were forced to leave their homeland. Some tribes, such as Goths, Vandals, Franks, Gepits migrated towards west and they enlarged the territory of today?s Europe. This migration was not a short time. This event continued for many years. Great Migration of Peoples not only affect tribes migrated to the west, but also affected the western tribes. Roman Empire, was one of the affected by the Great Migration of Peoples. Roman Empire seperated into east and west with the effect of migration in 395. The Great Migration of Peoples ended in 476.Every period of history, it is possible to see an immigration incident.
