Abstract (EN)
Aedes albopictus (Asian tiger mosquito) is an invasive species known as a vector of many vector-borne diseases. This species has invaded almost every country in the last 20 years, except poles. In this study, investigated that Aedes albopictus of larvacide and adulticide resistance in the provinces of Artvin, Rize and Trabzon, where the species is distributed and population status determined by monthly adult and egg counts in populations in selected areas. ''Human landing catch'' method is used for adult counts and ovitrap traps are used for egg counts. Resistance tests were carried out using descriptive doses and criteria of the World Health Organization. As a result of the study, it was determined that Aedes albopictus populations started to be seen from May and peaked in August or September by rising in July. Insecticide resistance studies It was found that almost all of the Aedes albopictus populations had high fenitrothion and bendiocarb resistance and the populations were sensitive to Pyrethroid group insecticides. The result of larvacid studies, all populations were found to be sensitive to pyriproxyfen and Bti / Bs. As a result; It was determined that Pirethroid group insecticides can be used in adult control in the field, and pyriproxyfen and Bti / Bs mixture formulation or separate formulations can be used effectively in the fight against larvae. In terms of field dynamics, it was concluded that caution should be taken against the risks of disease, and the necessary methods of struggle and prevention should be applied during the months when populations peak and during periods when it is high.
