East Turkish Tezkire-i Seyyid Âfâk Hâcem [42b-62b] (Indroduction-grammar-text-translation-notes-index)

It is known that this work, written in Arabic letters, is a copy from Yarkent in 1929 and this copy was donated to the Jarring Collection in 1982. The work is in the Jarring Collection of the Lund University Library, Sweden. This study, which was prepared as a Master's Thesis, consists of 6 parts (Introduction-Grammar-Text-Translation-Notes-Index). The translations of Arabic or Persian quotations into Turkish are given in the appendices, and the "Facsimile" of the text is added at the end of the study. Part of the work [42b-62b] has been examined. In the introduction, detailed information about Seyyid Âfâk Hodja's life and period is given and the place of the text named "Tezkire-i Seyyid Âfâk Hâcem" in Turkish Literature is mentioned. When examined phonologically and morphologically, the effect of the language features of Chagatai Turkish and New Uyghur Turkish was determined on the text. Grammatical and etymological determinations were made on some words. Along with the index section, it has been determined that the text has a rich vocabulary.
