Abstract (EN)
Foundries are one of the most dangerous places for workers where the workers face physical, chemical, biological and psychosocial risks. In those industries, industrial accidents and occupational diseases occur because of high temperature, dust, rumble, and radiation. The molten metals which may reach 2000 0C, poisonous and abrasive materials, respiratory system which is exposed to dust, smoke, moisture, thermal comfort conditions, hygiene, rumble, lifting heavy weights, non ergonomic working conditions etc. are the biggest dangers for occupational health and safety. In foundries noise-induced hearing loss, vein, nerve muscle and joint diseases because of mechanical vibration, heat tiredness, heat cramp, heat stroke as a result of high temperature, occupational asthma, silicosis, asbestosis, siderosis, talcosis et cetera pneumoconiosises, falling into effects of some metals may couse nausea, vomit, bleeding, doze, headache, and later on liver failure, renal failure may occur by the time of the worker exposed to the effecting metal, and the dosage of it and the way the worker exposed to it. In this study, the physical, chemical, biological risk factors and the risk sources in foundries are determined; risk analysis is done by L-type matrix method Fine Kinney and FMEA method.
