In this work, several motifs seen on textile products and jewelry related to our folk culture were investigated and contribution of this subject to the cultural richness and human creativity were studied.As the result of this work, it was seen that evil eye fact is both false belief and religional belief. Evil eye motifs are the most used motifs in our traditional arts. In present time, evil eye beads are most used in the world and they have an important role for spreading Turkish Culture. Whether for fashion or for belief, evil eye bead is being used in every area.The evil eye motifs used on carpets, pileless carpets and jewelry, generally have the same meaning and same shape. The motifs seen on both jewelry and textile products are primarily eye motif.Collective motifs used on jewelry and textile products are eye, comb, amulet and 4 direction motifs, the motif used on only jewelry is horseshoe and the motifs used only on textile products were seen to be mainly fruit and fetter.In the search of evil eye motifs on jewelry and textile, it was seen that evil eye motifs are being used for the aim of both decoration and protection.The evil eye symbols which are the most important symbols and objects of our traditional hand arts, will survive and be survived as far as they have their importance in our society.
