Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to prepare a document that could serve as source for future researches, with the examination of raw material, technical and operation features and area of use of the production of nonwoven in enterprises and with the being archived of the production specifications and the necessary documents of the nonwoven which is developing more and more thanks to technology. The techniques of screening and survey are used in this research. The enterprises of Salvin Textile and Dinarsu from Marmara Region and Bayteks. The sample of the research is the individuals working in these enterprises. Questionnaires were used to collect data. The samples of the products are taken for the prepared information forms, and the information forms are prepared to determine the properties of these products. When the data obtained from the questionnaires are analyzed, it is found that the enterprises have a wide range of products such as hygienic products, medical products, geo-textile, carpet, filters and nonwoven used in the automotive industry. Although the production of these products, raw materials and techniques are different in enterprises and in products, the most preferred raw material are respectively polyester, poliproilen and pp granules. The techniques of mechanical laying and endless fiber laying are used among the techniques for creating texture. When the texture weaving techniques are analyzed, the techniques of needling, weaving with water jet and weaving with hot rollers are used.
