Abstract (EN)
Bacterial Wilt Disease caused by Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis causes significant crop losses in tomato plants in economic terms. In this master's study, environmentally friendly microbial fertilizers (SS-Stomafix, Bio-Ag and SS-Super Root), two disinfectants (chlorine dioxide and hydrogen peroxide) and a licensed copper preparation in tomato were used in Kocide (35% copper hydroxide equivalent to metallic copper) in this disease control. The suppressive effect on tomato plants was investigated with a pot experiment in a glass greenhouse. In addition, the effect of these preparations on the total bacterial flora in tomato green parts was also revealed. Among these applications, Bio-Ag, a biological control product containing 14 different types of antagonist bacteria, was determined to be the most effective and most successful application by suppressing Bacterial Wilt Disease with a 51.07% rate. Following this, SS-Super Roots and SS-Stomafix applications were determined as other effective applications and the disease was suppressed by 35.70% and 35.17%, respectively. Copper hydroxide, chlorine dioxide and hydrogen peroxide applications were evaluated as ineffective applications since they were in the same group as the positive control. As a result, it was determined that microbial fertilizers have the potential to be used in the biological control of Bacterial Wilt Disease in tomato plants. Key words: Tomato, Bacterial Wilt, Microbial Fertilizer, Disinfectant, Biological Control
