Özet (EN)
Rotary type heat exchangers which are extensively used in industry are one of the most important types of regenerative heat exchangers used for purposes of energy saving. There is a wide application field of rotary regenerators. Gas turbines, thermal power stations, air-conditioning systems, residences, work places, food industry and drying systems are given as example. In this study, after general information about working principles and constructions of rotary regenerators reported, experimentals were carried out on an labarotary - maderegenerator. In the experiments influence of rotation speed on efficiency was investigated. Values of efficiency obtained from experiments were compared with some theoritical and numerical results.
