Abstract (EN)
Transition to this period we call the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is also referred to as Industry 4.0, got under way in the 2000's. It is unavoidable for major changes to take place over employment thanks to new technologies. The former "industrial worker" has been replaced by "information worker" now. The information industry has therefore been added to the industries, which are classified as agriculture, industry and services. As technological advances speed up and are more commonplace, some professions would certainly lose their effectiveness while some other professions would gain more importance. The conventional theories of economics would have to be reconsidered upon addition of artificial intelligence and robots to the business markets. Technology being made available in areas such as production, supervision, record keeping, serial and repetitive / recurrent works, new designs, transport, communications and health care in a much more extensive manner might make people working in these areas jobless. Conversely, work force having many more qualifications would be needed in areas such as psychology, sociology, social psychology, conversation and communication, art, law and social and political sciences, which are specific to humans.
