Investigation of the visual reading and the visual presentation skills located in the education and teaching program of the 4st class Turkish lesson

This study was conducted to determine benefits, activities, skills gain levels in the end term of the students and teacher comments for visual reading and visual presentation skills located in education program and their books of 4th class Turkish lesson. The sampling of the research consisted of 67 students which ranged from 9 age and 10 age, studied in 4/A and 4/B classes of Ahmetler Primary School in Kozcagız, Bartin in the 2014 – 2015 education semester. The questionnaire was used as the one of the quantitate data collection technics in this study applied the Screening model. The data obtained after the study was analyzed with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software program. In analysis duration, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test were done. The results of the study showed that the activities for visual reading and visual presentation located in student work books prepared for 4th class Turkish lesson is not stable. The half of the students are enough to see themselves to archive visual reading and visual presentation skills in 4th class Turkish lesson. The students were determined to be sufficient to develop the visual reading and visual presentation skills. The statistical results made among teacher gender, working duration, and school types graduated showed to be significant differences. A significant difference was only observed between the variables for the analysis of class size made teaching. In the results of the research, the development of the students in the higher-level to archive the visual reading and the visual presentation skills were proposed.
