The relationship between foreign trade and economic growth on an application Turkey

Financial instruments in the form of bank deposits, shares owned by companies, cryptocurrency accounts and other investment products that directly affect the growth and development of economies are changing Decently between economies. It is important to measure the monitoring of the economic mutual foreign trade activities of all countries that are integrated into international markets. In the study, it is aimed to examine the impact of foreign trade activities, which are rapidly increasing in form, elements, volume and importance, on economic growth through the application of Turkey. Together with the conceptual framework related to economic growth, the general lines of international institutions and organizations that construct the economic system, as well as national institutions that publish statistics related to economic data in Turkey, as well as basic economic indicators and regulations have been discussed. In the application part of the research, the relationships between Economic Growth (percentage of GDP per capita), export share in GDP, import share in GDP, public sector gross external debt to GDP ratio and private sector gross external debt to GDP ratio variables with real GDP per capita were investigated using unit root tests and Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) boundary testing approach Dec. The findings obtained as a result of the established model were realized in accordance with theoretical expectations, and during the analysis period; it was seen that export activities had a positive and significant impact on economic growth, while import activities, contrary to expectations, had a negative impact on economic growth.
